Training & Personal Development Experience
I have extended my original Counselling skills to develop my skill as a trainer in Counseling Skills and Personal Development.
Initially I delivered COSCA's Introduction to Counselling Skills to trainees in formal educational settings in Scotland and to voluntary organisations in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I personally developed a Diploma in Counselling course in Edinburgh and participated in the development of an Advanced Professional Training programme for counselors, psychotherapists and those in the caring professions.
I have also taught on the following
- The Postgraduate Certificate and Master of Counselling (MCouns), at the University of Edinburgh
- The Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care at the University of Strathclyde
- The Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling at the Scottish Churches Open College
